Office of Advocacy and Community Resilience

Our Mission

The mission of the Office of Advocacy and Community Resilience is to provide compassionate, confidential support and advocacy for victims and survivors of crimes while fostering a campus culture of respect, safety, and empowerment. Through comprehensive services, prevention education, and community outreach, we are committed to promoting healing, preventing violence, and empowering students to build a safe, inclusive community.

Programs

SAFE (Support/Advocacy/Freedom through Empowerment) is a holistic initiative dedicated to providing trauma-informed care, counseling, advocacy, and education to the campus community and law enforcement. Our goal is to foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports healing and promotes resilience for survivors while addressing the mental health and wellness needs of our officers.

Strength in Service

This program supports law enforcement and first responders by addressing the unique challenges and trauma they face in their line of duty. We promote mental health, resilience, and wellness through tailored resources, peer support, and professional therapeutic interventions. Strength in Service empowers officers to serve their communities while prioritizing their own well-being.
